The 4th of October, 2021, was a historic day for all of us because the school once again opened its gates to welcome the students after nearly 18 months of Lockdown. There was joy and elation on the faces of the teachers as they saw the familiar faces walking in. The whole campus was vibrant with energy and enthusiasm. The students were nervous, excited, happy, and careful all at the same time. The teachers couldn’t hide their hurry to go to their classes and interact with the students whom they had been seeing online for so long.
Following all the Govt Norms and directions for the re-opening of the schools, it is being ensured that the school runs on 50% capacity. All the COVID protocols of social distancing are being followed on a daily basis. Classes are being regularly sanitized, students are not being allowed to touch each other, they are sitting at a proper distance from each other in classes and everyone’s health is being monitored by our vigilant and alert teachers and other staff members.
As we return to normalcy, we are happy to see the faith of the students and their parents in us being restored. Everything is a team effort and this situation is no exception. It is the constant endeavor of every member of the St Soldier’s family to ensure that the children return to their pre-pandemic routine as swiftly and as smoothly as possible. Life after the pandemic is not the same as it was before. The focus now is on covering up the cognitive and emotional setbacks that the students might have suffered because of the restrictions. The wonderful family that we are, it is something that all of us definitely look forward to!!
